PMO | United States - Remote - Full Time

Job Title: Project Manager
Department: Project Management Office (PMO)
Type: Full-Time, Permanent, Direct Hire
Location: 100 % Remote – open to any legally authorized U.S. resident
Salary Range: Competitive; commensurate with experience, education, and market rates

About the Role

RSI Security is looking for a driven Project Manager passionate about orchestrating complex cybersecurity and risk-management engagements from kickoff to close-out. In this role, you’ll unite consultants, engineers, and clients to deliver audit-ready, regulation-compliant security programs—on time and on budget. You will thrive in our fast-paced, mission-driven culture and directly influence how organizations conquer cyber risk.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of multiple concurrent cybersecurity and compliance projects (PCI DSS, SOC 2, HIPAA/HITRUST, NIST, ISO 27001, etc.).
  • Define scope, milestones, success metrics, and secure stakeholder buy-in—internally and with client executives.
  • Build and manage integrated project schedules, resource plans, and budgets using Asana, Mavenlink, or similar tools.
  • Surface and mitigate security, timeline, or budget risks; escalate blockers swiftly and creatively.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams (sales, advisory & consulting, technical testing) to meet quality targets and billable-utilization goals.
  • Own client communications: status reports, executive readouts, risk registers, and lessons-learned retrospectives.
  • Maintain rigorous documentation and ensure every engagement aligns with RSI Security’s proven delivery methodology and best-practice frameworks.

What You’ll Bring

  • 3–5 + years of hands-on project management experience (cybersecurity, information security, or technical consulting strongly preferred).
  • Demonstrated success running parallel projects with strict regulatory or industry requirements.
  • Working knowledge of common cybersecurity frameworks (PCI DSS, SOC 2, NIST CSF, ISO 27001, HIPAA/HITRUST).
  • Proficiency in modern PM platforms (Asana, Mavenlink/Kantata, Monday.com, or equivalent).
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; comfortable presenting to C-suite leaders.
  • Preferred certifications: PMP, CISSP, CISM, or similar.
    • Bachelor’s degree in a related field—or equivalent combination of education and experience

Mindset We Value

  • Ownership: You take initiative and follow through without micromanagement.
  • Calm Under Pressure: Shifting priorities don’t rattle you—you reprioritize with grace.
  • Continuous Improvement: You proactively seek smarter, faster, better ways to work.
  • System Thinker: Checklists and tidy processes fuel your success.
  • Service-First: You know that behind every client win is a team that has your back—and vice-versa.
  • Growth-Oriented: You bring positive energy and help others level up alongside you.

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary and annual bonus eligibility
  • Flexible work environment (100% remote)
  • Collaborative team culture rooted in trust and humility
  • Opportunities for growth and professional development

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
